DOH released an upcoming album from The Scorpions, titled “Sting In The Tail″ which has a retail release date of March 23, 2010.

After the release of their album, STING IN THE TAIL, and a three-year mammoth tour, which will take them across five continents, one of the most successful rock bands in the world, SCORPIONS, will be ending their career. During their 40-year career, SCORPIONS sold over 100 million albums and received many awards, such as the World Music Award and several Echos–the German equivalent to the Grammy. Today they still play sold-out venues around the world. Not long ago, 152,000 South Americans came to 15 SCORPIONS concerts between Rio de Janeiro and Mexico City. Their song “Wind of Change” has become an anthem for the fall of the Iron Curtain. The tour will launch in the band’s home country Germany in May. After that, they will be touring through North America before they continue their journey through five other continents until 2012.

Drive_By_Truckers-The_Big_To-Do-2010-FRAY

The Big To-Do. The album, which will be the band s tenth in their thirteen-year career, is scheduled to be released March 16, 2010. The Big To-Do features thirteen new tracks from the Drive-By Truckers and was produced by their long time producer, David Barbe (Sugar, Bettye LaVette). Hood and Mike Cooley continue to be the chief songwriters of the group, continuing a musical partnership that has lasted over twentythree years. Bassist, Shonna Tucker, flexes her songwriting muscles once again by contributing two original songs to the album. Brad Morgan (drums), John Neff (guitar/pedal steel) and Jay Gonzalez (keyboards) round out the current Drive-By Truckers lineup.

The band recently backed legendary R&B musician, Booker T. Jones, on his critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album, Potato Hole. The album is nominated for Best Pop Instrumental Album and Best Rock Instrumental Performance.

2010 release, the 17th album from the anarchist pop outfit best known for their massive hit ‘Tubthumping’. ABCDEFG: seven letters to hint at what Chumbawamba have spent their adult lives doing: fashioning something weird, funny, eccentric and challenging from a seven-note Do-re-mi of possibilities. Or by another name, music. This is another concept album (`concept’ as in `idea’. Above all, ideas is what Chumbawamba thrive on), an album full of ideas specifically about music.
